SC Products Update
By Singularity Computers

We have an important warning being added to all of our products. This warning applies to any Acrylic or Acetal products in your loop.

‘Warning: Check that the products you use in your loop are compatible with Acrylic and Acetal. Improper use of loop cleaning kits could damage our products. Do not use any form of alcohol for cleaning our products including Isopropyl Alcohol. Some coolants also contain harmful additives. We are not responsible for damage caused by chemicals incompatible with Acrylic or Acetal. Our products are tested safely with: All Mayhems Coolant, EK Cryofuel Clear and Opaque.’

Please check our knowledge base article for updated info here

We love Mayhems, they make great products. We have used their coolant for over a decade without a single issue. Mayhems Blitz is incompatible with our products though and also Primochill SysPrep. We are doing ongoing testing and the list of safe products will grow over time. Just because a product doesn’t appear on the safe to use list it doesn’t mean that it is not OK to use, this is just a list of products we have thoroughly tested and proven to work perfectly. We know there are plenty of people using every coolant and product available with our products successfully, its just that there are known issues with certain chemicals we would like to avoid. If you are planning on experimentation we suggest you check a chemical chart.

So far we have admitted responsibility for everything because we trust the community. This has worked for us in almost every case. The issue for us is not replacing the products, it is that replacing them means we are admitting fault. This means that we are blamed for all issues and people often spread these things on social media. We all started somewhere and I broke many products myself when I was learning. So I wanted to support this learning process with a replace everything policy. Only with this community is something like this possible! We have reached the point where we are becoming too big for this policy and so we are updating it. We are here to help with any questions you have and have the knowledge and experience to help you with your build. We will also be adding FAQs to all of our products and we are working on video installation guides and information.

For loop cleaning we recommend using distilled water and flushing the loop about 5x. Fill it and run it for 2 minutes then drain. The best method is to strip and dismantle every component and clean individually under the tap. For radiators flush them out on their own and run them for 10min both ways, then flush with distilled water.
