Event Horizon is an extremely high end water-cooled system with a number of customizations. It has custom paint, custom cables, custom components and case mods.

The custom paint on the case is a dark blue pearl over a black metallic with a high gloss polished finish. The radiators, motherboard and reservoir mounting plate are also custom painted in a combination of black metallic and blue flake. This build has dual water-cooling loops, automated control over the water-cooling system via the Aquaero 6 and full RGB lighting from the MSI X99A Godlike and Fabwerk RGB lighting controller. It has 4x 480mm radiators, 2 D5 pumps and 20 fans. The water-cooling systems are built using EK, Bitspower and Hardwarelabs components, the coolant is Mayhems. The case is the Caselabs Magnum TH10A. It has the Intel Core i7 5960X, SLI GTX 980Ti’s and the Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2.

I’m writing to you today to sincerely thank-you for the inspiration your build work and videos have provided me personally and countless others, I’m sure. I have begun my very first custom hardline build. Over the past year, I have scoured the internet learning the craft and understanding design principles and equipment selection for high-end water cooled rigs.

During my product searches, I came across the Singularity Computers Ethereal Dual V3 Reservoir Mounts. The mount design concept screamed of quality and in researching deeper, I discovered your huge web presence and web sites along with the incredibly detailed & informative videos you graciously provide the public. Bravo to you Sir!

You have an artistic eye and level of attention to detail rarely matched by other builders. This is a trait perfectly matching my own levels of commitment in attempting a uniquely perfect machine of my own. I was happily surprised discovering the Event Horizon Build 20. The Build 20 project was the closest rendition of what I was envisioning. Viewing your videos gave me all the motivation I needed to aid me and assist in finalizing my own versions of a similar type machine as the 20.

Although I am aware you have very limited time dedicated to building amazing systems and providing video posts, I would be extremely grateful to you if I may ping you from time to time during my production process for assistance and or recommendations. I intend giving Singularity Computers full credit as my primary source of inspiration on the finished product and hope to submit my project for public review at some point in the near future.

My first order of business is to somehow source DNA paint products in North America as you have previously video documented so I may begin painting a Lian-Li PC-D888 case that has just arrived from the United Kingdom.

I also have a dilemma on selecting the perfect dual reservoir types available as the two I’m leaning towards make it difficult to utilize your Ethereal mounts recently purchased:

    1. http://www.performance-pcs.com/monsoon-mmrs-fully-assembled-and-customizable-reservoir-style-6.html 2. http://www.performance-pcs.com/frozenq-novacore-extreme-limited-edition-uv-blue.html

I’m sending an equipment list for familiarization of parts included in my build. I completely cherry picked top-of-line components from many different vendors trying to merge into one incredible animal. The water-line system is also comprised of mixed vendors i.e. AquaComputer, Bitspower, EK Enzotech, ModMyToys, Monsoon, etc. I can also send detailed CSV files of my orders from Performance PC’s to help understand my array of parts slated for this particular build.

    System overview:

    1. Lian-Li D888 (8-PACK) Case Black & Blue scheme (case Interior blue only)
    2. ASUS Rampage V 3.1 USB 2011-3 with EK nickel MOFSET blocks
    3. Intel Core i7-6950X @ 3.00GHz with Aquacomputer Cuplex Kryos XT .925 Silver Edition for Socket 2011-3, G1/4
    4. Twin EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 G2 Power Supplies tied on a Bitspower X-Station module
    5. 1 Vantek EZ Swap M2500 enclosure RAID-0 8 x Samsung 950 Pro 512GB SSD’s on internal PCI areca ARC-1883ix24-287 PCI-Express 3.0 x8 SAS RAID Adapter and Quad 3TB WD BLACK RAID-5 data array.
    6. Dual EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW GAMING ACX 3.0 GDDR5X with single NVIDIA Tesla K40 (GK110B) 12GB 384-bit GDDR5 GPU Computing Accelerator
    7. 3 x Aqua-Computer Fully independent Airplex Modularity Rad System 360mm – Copper Fins, D5 Pumps, for each loop and a single Airplex Modularity Rad System 480mm ( i.e. Processor, MB & Ram, SLI GPU stack, and RAID Adapter HD Array + dual PCI 950 PRO M.2 512GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 MZ-V5P512BW)
    8. Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 XT Blue USB with 6 LT USB Fan Controller add on BT farbwerk/Poweradjust 3 USB, Graphic-LCD Touch Control, IR Remote complete system management (RGB/UV lighting, temp, flow, RPM control).
    9. 4 Radiators using 9 x Noise Blocker 180mm NB – Loop fans for 3 x Airplex 360’s and 4 x 180mm Noise Blocker M12 – PS on a single case front mounted 480 Airplex along with three of same type mounted independently on the case rear with 2 x Noise Blocker M8-P 80mm as replacement upgrades to the Vantek M2500 RAID box stock fans.

There are far too many additional mods to list in one post but I’m hoping to start a dialog with a similar minded gentlemen that shares my passion. I would be honored and deeply thankful to any input or recommendations you might offer. I have roughly $9000 USD in computer hardware massed and now have just placed my second $1600 order with Performance PC’s in water-line fittings & parts alone. BTW – This passion is becoming more addictive and far more expensive than a cocaine habit! LOL Cheers.

    Very Respectfully,
